I think it's become apparent to anyone who even remotely follows baseball that Rob Manfred is in way over his head as commissioner and should resign immediately.
This is the same idiot that called the World Series Trophy a piece of time in February, gave the cheating Astro players immunity to admit cheating the Dodgers out of the 2017 World Series, has botched the entire Marlins Coronavirus crisis, and now he's going to suspend Joe Kelly eight games, the equivalent of 22-games in a regular 162 game season, over pitching inside to a few players.
How does it make sense that the Astros can cheat their way to a World Series and not one players even gets a slap on the wrist, but Joe Kelly is possibly facing a very severe suspension for sending a message to the Houston Asterisks.
Joe Kelly did what every MLB fan outside of Houston and the payers on the other 28 MLB teams wanted to see happen. And nobody was hurt. Kelly is appealing the decision and he should undoubtedly win it. He shouldn't have even been fined.
