Religious Liberty
In the wake of the Covid-19 shutdown of the country, religious liberty in the United States is under attack like never before. Churches are being shut down, a decision not only made by governors across America, but also backed by the Supreme Court, and pastors are being threatened with jail time if they hold a service. Some pastors are fighting back though. Pastors like John MacArthur, Rob McCoy, Jack Hibbs, and others have taken a stand and are holding services despite the unconstitutional shutdowns of our churches.
The first right in the First Amendment protects Americans right to worship as they please. It states that no law shall be made “prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”
We must keep these five issues in mind every time we go to the polls. If every Christian went to the polls and voted Biblically and for the Constitution, we would win every election. It’s not about voting for a Republican vs. a Democrat, it’s about voting based on the Bible and what is right.
